The members of a team possessing the
characteristics necessary to perform the tasks and achieving the goals
entrusted to them is not enough. It requires that the team has the
opportunity to implement these capabilities, and the truth is that there are
always limitations that could cause computer performance is not expected. In
business, the most common limiters are lack of time, lack of human,
technological or financial, or a misunderstanding of instructions or
objectives.
One determinant of team performance is the
physical and organizational context within which they operate. As for the
physical context, the main constraints relate to:

material resources, appropriate and when necessary

Feedback: organizational responses to the
team's results

Technology: the need and availability of
appropriate technology to perform the tasks

Organizational processes: working systems,
communication. Leadership styles, decision making, conflict resolution,
etc..
